Nowadays Japanese is among the most studied languages in the world. Japanese culture, modern and traditional likewise, attracts more and more people. Peculiarities of the Japanese culture and the national mentality may be explained by the peculiarities of the language, which is so different from the European language group.
Groups are formed according to the students’ level and the time comfortable for them. Daytime is 2 p.m. or 3:30 p.m., evening time is 5:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. The maximum number of students in the group is 7 people.
On finishing the course at “Intercont” one may receive a certificate, if a student attends classes regularly and has passed a final test
If wanted or needed, a student may pass a JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) test in the Embassy of Japan in Kiev. This test is passed once a year in December. Unlike such examinations like TOEFL, IELTS, etc. JLPT test is recognized all over the world, costs reasonable amount of money and doesn’t require regular re-examinations.

Methods of teaching
Classes are conducted twice a week and are 2 academic hours long (1,5 regular hours). On the beginner level a student should learn 2 phonetic alphabets (hiragana and katakana) and approximately 200-300 hieroglyphs (kanji). High level of Japanese implies about 2000 hieroglyphs, from which one must know not only how to write them but also their readings. Japanese written language makes this language exclusively charming but at the same time makes it difficult especially in the beginning. Japanese grammar has no person or number categories, there are only two types of tenses, adjectives behave like verbs, nouns have 11 “cases”, and there are many types of personal pronouns. Men and women have different styles of speaking, and one and the same Japanese person may use various words and expressions in daily-life situations.Price list
